Following on from Suddenly WOW!’s 'Plastic Life' EP and their futuristic, plastopian holiday experience, Otti Albietz and Darren Morris decided to build a space exploration vessel to go forth into the reaches of Outer Space to search for the legend of the Space Soul Mother. Equipping the capsule with scientific instruments was left to Otti, who tracked down an ex-military Matter Encoding Machine which is capable of distorting time and space to a Factor of seven. This piece of kit enabled the duo to relay their music back to Jo at Ramrock Red Records via several sputniks and some redundant satellite dishes in the Australian Outback. However, after busily hurtling through the solar system on their quest to find the Space Soul Mother, a terminal fault developed and an ominous red bulb flashed on the dashboard indicating that their spaceship couldn’t slow down, being sucked into perpetual acceleration and oblivion - forever. Travelling at mind bending speeds, they have no control over their spacecraft and as they draw ever closer into the universal mind of the Space Soul Mother, their only reference to their light years from home is a woefully, inadequate analogue year counter. With the Cosmos rapidly disappearing behind them, our intrepid explorers are left with three stark realisations:

1. Einstein was right.
2. It's a lonely life.
3. They'll never see their loved ones again.
